Intention: Before starting Wudu, make an intention in your heart that you are performing it for the sake of Allah’s pleasure.
Washing Hands:
First, thoroughly wash your hands, ideally two or three times.
Clean between your thumbs and fingers carefully.
Rinsing the Mouth:
Rinse your mouth three times with water.
Swirl water around your mouth to ensure thorough cleaning.
Cleaning the Nose:
Take water into your nose and clean it properly (Istinshaq).
Expel the water from your nose, repeating this process three times.
Washing the Face:
After rinsing your mouth, wash your entire face (from ear to ear and forehead to chin) three times.
Washing the Hands:
Wash your right hand first, followed by your left hand.
Ensure both hands are cleaned from fingertips to elbows. Try to wash each hand three times.
Performing Masah (Wiping the Head):
Take a small amount of water and wipe your head gently (Masah).
Move your hands from the front to the back of your head.
Cleaning the Ears:
After wiping the head, clean both ears.
Use your thumbs to clean the inside of the ears and your fingers for the outside.
Washing the Feet:
Wash your right foot first, followed by the left foot.
Clean thoroughly from the heels to the toes, ensuring to clean between the toes as well.
Try to wash each foot three times.
Final Step of Wudu:
If any part of the body is unclean, such as the mouth, nose, hands, or feet, ensure to clean them properly. If needed, restart the Wudu process.
Additional Points:
Regularity: Wudu aims to achieve physical purity, so it should be performed correctly. Breaking Wudu: Certain actions like using the restroom, sleeping, or bathing invalidate Wudu. Renewing Wudu: If Wudu is invalidated, it must be performed again.
Wudu is a simple process of purification, but performing it correctly is crucial. Once Wudu is complete, you are fully prepared to offer Salah.
